Max Financial stock price: Max Financial stock drops 0.95% as Sensex falls

Shares of . fell 0.95% to Rs 722.45 in Tuesday’s session at 13:34 (IST) even as the benchmark Sensex shares traded down 52.46 points at 54,236.15.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap in early trading. The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 1147.9 and a 52-week low of Rs 697.05 on NSE. About 11114 shares changed hands on the counter till 13:34 (IST).

The stock opened at Rs 723.0 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 725.85 and Rs 708.4 during the session so far. The meter quoted a price to earnings (PE) ratio of 98.21, earnings per share (EPS) of Rs 7.34 and price to book value (PB) of 8.87, while return on equity (ROE) stood at Rs 12.72.

Promoter/ Holding FII
The promoters held 14.72% of the company’s capital as of May 24, while the stakes of FII and MF amounted to 45.12% and 28.05% respectively.

Key financial data

With a market capitalization of Rs 24882.77 crore, the company operates in the Life Insurance segment. For the quarter ended March 31, 2022, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 8,962.31 crore, up 28.87% from the previous quarter of Rs 6,954.76 crore and up 8.18% from compared to the same quarter a year ago. The company reported a net profit of Rs 117.68 crore for the last quarter, up 88.77% from the corresponding quarter last year.
